About Us

Nestled in the heart of Fourways, Mi Kinder is a warm and nurturing early learning centre for children aged 3 months to 6 years, offering extended care from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved and valued. Every moment at Mi Kinder has a purpose, as we build strong foundations for South African and international primary schools.

Our curriculum includes Spanish, Music, Gross Motor Development and Mindfulness/Life Skills, thoughtfully integrated into everyday learning.

Our Classes

    Baby Class

    Our Baby Class provides specialised care and purposeful early learning for children aged 3 months to 1 year. In a warm, loving and nurturing environment, each baby is supported according to their individual needs and stage of development, with meaningful experiences that encourage exploration, movement and early learning.

    Toddler Classes

    Our beautiful Toddler Centre welcomes children from 1 to 3 years of age, providing a nurturing environment filled with purposeful, play-based learning experiences. Through carefully planned indoor and outdoor activities, children develop confidence, independence, communication, social skills and curiosity while learning through movement, exploration and play.

    Preschool & Grade R Classes

    Our Preschool and Grade R programme provides a thoughtful balance of purposeful play, structured learning and creative exploration, helping children build strong foundations for their transition to primary school. Through engaging learning experiences, early literacy and numeracy, problem-solving, movement and meaningful social interactions, children develop the confidence, independence and skills they need for future learning.

    Our son graduated from Grade R at Mi Kinder and we had such a wonderful experience. Veronica Arana Arellano

MK FOUNDER & OWNER

Teacher Verónica holds a degree in Education and has extensive teaching experience, complemented by international professional development and training. She is passionate about early childhood development, languages and cultures.

As the founder of Mi Kinder, she remains hands-on and loves getting to know each child personally. Her philosophy is simple: everything we do for a child should have a purpose.

MK PRINCIPAL

Tessa brings dedication, experience, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. She believes that every interaction with a child has a purpose and is committed to supporting each child’s development.

With an open-door approach, she is always available to listen, guide and support parents throughout their child’s early learning journey.
